Hey Arnold Summer of Dreams

The final bell had rung announcing the beginning of Summer Break.

Arnold breathed a sigh of relief as he and Gerald walked down the steps of PS.118 and headed home.

"Boy am I GLAD it's summer break." Gerald sighed happily

"Yea, I know what you mean." Arnold replied "At least I won't have to deal with Helga for a while."

He let out another happy sigh. He had put up with her pranks all year, usually he could just ignore them but recently she had up the "abuse" and his patience had just about ran out. Luckily summer break got here first. Her recent prank had gotten him detention. Let's just say it had to do with the principal and a can of paint that fell on him in the doorway of his office.

"You know I don't know WHY you EVEN put up with her in the first place!" Gerald asked

Arnold rolled his eyes "Gerald you've asked me that before!" he answered "I just don't want to stoop down to her level and well I've figured if I ignored her long she'd quit."

Gerald snickered and elbowed his friend "Yea, and how is that working out for you?" he asked laughing

Arnold stopped walking and looked at his friend "Look I have no idea WHY she picks on me and I may never know!"

Gerald put up his hands in defense "Look, look I'm sorry ok." "It's just ever since preschool Helga has done nothing but pick on you and everything. "Ok"

"Ok, let's just get-. Arnold stopped

A dark shadow fell on them and as they looked up as bat hit them over the head, they fell to the ground as they looked up to see a blurry face laughing as they faded into darkness…
