New Beginnings

The shocked stares and whispering voices carried to their ears. Everyone's attention was now focused on the two people who walked hand and hand throughout the halls of Degrassi. One was a short petite girl with medium length brown hair. A girl who had been branded an outcast by her own mistakes. Those of which had driven her to attend and all girls private school for a while. The other was a tall boy who held a touch of feminine features, light brown hair, and blue eyes. He himself held a secret which had marked him different, but in the end it had only driven him to her.

"This is nice, eh? Center of attention during my first week back. I can't wait to here the rumours spread like wild fire." Alli joked throwing on a smile as she looked over to her newly appointed boyfriend.

"Yes Princess Bhandari is in the building. Everyone get ready for her speech!" Adam teased playfully.

Adam and Alli had been together for a while now. Mostly thanks to Eli and Clare's many dates in which they had both become third wheels on. Adam had been pretty torn up after his break up with Fiona, and he actually thought he had lost the one person who would ever accept him for who he was. That is until he met Alli. It had taken him a while to tell her that he was transgendered, but surprisingly Alli had taken it well.

You see Alli and Adam were a lot alike, and they helped each other see themselves clearly. Both were misunderstood for things that were out of their control.

For Alli trouble always just seemed to find her. The saying that goes 'Always at the wrong place at the wrong time.' fit Alli's life perfectly. Things never seemed to go right, and she had all but given up the idea that her life would ever be some what normal, but Adam had helped her a lot. Not that being with Adam was normal. It was a new thing for her, and she actually accepted it. I mean change was good, and Alli embraced it completely.

Adam's life had always been a crazy roller coaster of emotions. Things always seemed to go from good to bad to worse. Nothing seemed to go right for him, but when he had come to Degrassi things slowly started getting better. He had made two of the most amazing best friends in the world, and then now Alli had come into his life. I mean sure things weren't always peachy for him, but he could look past the bad stuff for once and just focus on the now. In truth he was just glad to finally be accept by someone.

"You know I'm really glad I found you Alli. No actually I think you found me." Adam suddenly blurted out. They had finally stopped at their lockers; Which were conveniently located side by side. He suddenly felt a blush creep across his cheeks as he said this.

"Cheesy line Mr. Torres. I approve," Alli giggled as she winked at him. Then she become serious, "No one could be as happy as I am right now. I finally feel like my life is good, and not an annoying drama fest that suffocates me."

Alli smiled at him sweetly, and then leaned up standing on her tip toes so she could place a chaste kiss on his cheek. Then she turned to walk away, but stopped abruptly and turned around.

"Thank you Adam." she whispered before turning back to head for class leaving Adam grinning widely as he watched her leave.

A/n: Well I hope you guys liked my little Allam oneshot. Before anyone freaks out I do ship Fadam, but I actually want him and Alli together. I think they could help each other a lot. I really hope I didn't mess up or write them OOC too much. This is probably the first bit of good inspiration I've had in the writing department since forever. Also I am really sorry a head of time for any typos! PLEASE REVIEW!
