Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach. However, like everyone else here, I wish I did. D
Note: This free-verse poem is written from one lover to the other. However, this complicates things a little for people that haven't had the opportunity to see or read much of the Bleach anime or manga. If you're not into the fourteenth or fifteenth manga, if you haven't seen up to probably episode 45, or if you're doing your hardest not to ruin things for yourself, please don't read the spoiler note at the bottom revealing what one is writing this to his love. The poem itself does not spoil things, though. I hope you enjoy this!
Wistful
Lover of mine,
I've been so alone.
Without the warmth of your smile,
the years are so long, so dull.
My heart aches to hear your
beautiful voice,
like honey clinging,
thick and sweet,
on your lips.
I long for those, too, you know.
Your tender kisses on my skin,
perfecting me.
Golden eyes gaze deep within,
piercing my soul, knowing
every word I want to say to you,
before they pass these lips.
Your touch,
that loving caress given to none but me…
makes me tremble,
makes me faint.
You make me weak with adoration,
and in this world and the next,
I am captivated by none but you.
So stay with me tonight,
my Lover.
Let the midnight be
ours alone,
let us not allow this time to
leave us listless.
Let us open our hearts to
pour out our love that
outshines the moonlight and
outshines the starlight and
let us drink deeply.
And when the night is over,
rosy fingers of dawn
clawing away the deep blue of our bliss,
I know my heart will ache again.
Like the petals on the wind,
you are gone,
leaving only your
sweet scent behind.
I long for our next meeting, though,
and will savor these memories until
you are back in my arms again,
my dear Beloved.
Note: Alright, if you've made it this far, I suppose you want to know who the lovers are. This was a love poem written from Kisuke Urahara to the beautiful Yoruichi…such a sweet couple. nn If you read this and enjoyed it, I would love a review! 3
