Shane had tried his best to save Claire from Jason but he never succeeded. He'd never forgive himself for that. He's always so tired but he can't sleep without Claire.
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Shane had tear tracks down his cheeks, crying softly. He lost his most precious valuable that can never be replaced. He loved Claire, but now it seems like someone was teasing him, making him fall for her, just to have her taken away. Shane didn't think anything could be worse.

Somewhere deep inside of him these words had spoken to him. How could anything drive me home? Home is with Claire, where he thought they would spend the rest of our lives together. Eve and Michael sometimes came in to try and fix him, but it never worked. Now, when Claire's parents visit, they see how much he loved her.

Shane was too in love with Claire to move on from her. Just when she was dying, she told him she wanted him to move on and forget her. How could he?

Shane finally bowed his head and sobbed his heart out. He lost his Claire, she could never be replaced. Ever. He was only whole when Claire was with him, how could he dare move on?
