Leo called out from the living room. Tess tore herself from the Book of Shadows and walked down the Manor's stairs. She stopped at her cousin's room. Chris was sitting on his bed, his head in his hands. She knocked politely and he immediately sat up, his face red.

"Leo called. We have to go now." She said softly.

"Yeah I heard." He mumbled, getting to his feet.

"You don't have to do this. I can go alone."

His sparking green eyes flashed.

"Of course I'm have to this. It's my family."

She sighed. How was she going to say this to him?

"Um... Chris? You do know that we're only going back to stop your mum and dad from destroying the spell to bind Wyatt's powers? We can't change anything else."

"I'm not going to save my Mum if that's what you think." Chris's voice broke with emotion.

"Chris..."

"Just forget it, OK" He walked out of the room.

Phoebe finally let go of Tess.

"You be good to my younger self hear me?" She grinned.

"Yes Mum. Hey, it will be good to see Dad again." She regretted her words as Phoebe's face grew empty with loss.

"I'm sorry."

"No, don't be. Just spend as much time as you can with him." Phoebe said softly. She thought about all the time she had deprived her daughter of her father and tears sprung fresh in her eyes. She hid them from Tess.

Tess gave Leo and her Aunt Prue a wave as her and Chris linked hands and said the spell.

Her head spun around as they were hurdled 8 years in the past.

Chris woke up in his room for the second time that "day". Yet it wasn't his room. The bed was different. His now blue room was clustered with toys and there was Harry Potter posters on his walls. Looking down at his body, he got a shock. Just to verify it he walked to the mirror. He was in his ten-year-old body. His worry increased as he tried to orb but couldn't. Great. He thought. How was he going to save the world with his powers not fully developed and having the physical strength of a little kid? Suddenly he heard a scream downstairs. He hesitated. If he was 10 he would hide under his bed. But he was 18 and he had to help which ever family member was in trouble. Without another thought he raced down the stairs. Every step sounded like a heart beat. He reached the bottom and cried out in emotion. A bloodied mess lay on the ground.

"Oh, Chris." Tess's eyes were filled with terror as she crouched over the body.

He couldn't do anything but stare below in horror.

Mum? Have I failed you again?
