The Unforgiven
In the dark, left to rot away,
Lies an innocent soul, put to waste
Deprived of love, he is not what they think;
Don't you see that the silence makes a good man convert?
Walls surround his heart, his voice is but a scream;
For mercy, for forgiveness but thy is said to be blinded..
"I will make them pay," whispers his spirit, alone, no need for a team
For never had he been given the pleasure to learn right from wrong; he is not scared
Conscience? No, he has no remorse, no restraint, he was never alive to ever feel dead..
His soulmate, torn away,
His spirit, long gone,
Where will he ever lay?
Beyond the horizon, beyond the sun;
So he dubs thee unforgiven.
Finally free from the pain of his 'home',
The mighty man is left to roam
Unable to comprehend the choices,
He heeds not their voices
How can they say that he is nothing?
Swallowed by the darkness, he now is blinded;
By the lust, by the hunger, he really is drowning..
"Save me from myself," croaks his fading spirit, shredded
He stood above another war, another jewel upon his crown, he was the fear
Mercy? The one thing he had always begged for, he could not give..
His soulmate, torn away,
His spirit, long gone,
Where will he ever lay?
Beyond the horizon, beyond the sun;
So he dubs thee unforgiven.
A/N: So basically, I was bored, and I suddenly had the urge to write a poem D:
