When James Potter and Sirius Black first met Severus Snape, they hated him from looking at him and his greasy hair. And from then they made a promise to always be mean bullies to him every time they see him. Then when they met Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew on the train when they were going to Hogwarts for the first they got them into the promise to. And that is how James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew became the Marauders. The first prank they pulled on him, well mostly James and Sirius with the help of Remus brain was the spell called Expulso. They did that when they were in potion class with him and lets just say Severus took long baths for a whole week. Then they started to prank him all the time when they got a chance and weren't in detention. Poor Severus got called Snivellus because of the Marauders. And one time when Severus and Lily were sitting and talking, they came up and James put the spell Levicorpus on him in front of the school. But that not the worst part when Lily was helping him. Something happen and he said " I don't need help from a mudblood." From that day on he and Lily never talked again because of them. And from that day on Severus Snape hated them and wanted them on died. But that didn't stop them from hurting and being mean to him. The next one was the one that got all them in detention. Severus and James got into a huge fight that so close them their life. James was begin a big prick to him again so he cast a spell on him that caused him to Babble when ever he talk, It made severus laughed till James put a horrible spell on him. So they both cast a deadly spell at the same time but Dumbledore's stop it before it hit them both. However after that the pranks still didn't stop, so poor Severus had to put up with it till their last year together. So Severus just thought if he only think about his study it will help and it kinda did help him for a little bit. One time James did feel sorry for him when they turned him in to a women that was cute. So all the guys in the school kept hitting on him and he cast them into the lake (ouch). So James bought him shampoo for him and Severus threw him into the lake. It took weeks to get the yucky smell of lake water off him. But the Marauders will always think ruining his life was funny but Remus felt bad for him. Most of the hatred came from the Marauders being in Gryffindor and him being in Slytherin. So that well half of the rival thing came from anyway. A lot of people thought "so for everyone sake stop the casting and fighting for once and grow up you five." Mostly Lily wanted them to stop even after that mudblood thing. But it the Marauders they loved to prank him but mostly anyone or each other. James and Sirius loved getting him in trouble when he yelled " WILL YOU TWO STOP FOR ONCE AND WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DERSERVE THIS TREATMENT!" "well you don't wash your greasy head Snivellus" said James and Sirius back in a mockery tone. Then they and Severus got a dentation for yelling in class. So Severus just have to put up with each year. While everyone else got a laugh or two in before Severus cruse them mostly in to lake.
