The Hallucination

Seta stared into nothing awaiting for the angel of death to finally consume him.
"Seta! Seta!" The small voice rang through his head.
His eyes became even blanker as his heart throbbed. He let the flies land on him, secretly hoping they would kill him and put an end to his misery.
'Why did I have to be the only survivor of my family? Why couldn't I just die! I could've gone to heaven along with Setsuko and mom and dad!'
"Seta! Seta!" His eyes closed a little as he inhaled and exhaled his ragged breaths. His lungs throbbed and felt like they could burst. He tried to swallow, but the dehydration he put himself through was taking effect.
"Seta! Seta!" He fell to the ground with a soft 'thud.' His breaths grew hard and labored. His eyes closed as he took a last labored breath. His lungs failed and he lay there, a lifeless body on the ground.
Setsuko gasped and took a step forward, but a hand stopped her. She looked up and laughed when she saw her older brother. He smiled and she jumped up wanting him to hold her.
Seta had became an angel in heaven with Setsuko at his side
