Nothing had ever been the same. Blister had succeeded in becoming queen of the Sandwings and killing her sisters, the Nightwings took over the rainforest massacring the Rainwings, and the dragonets of destiny were dead. There had never been this much tension between tribes, Nightwings and Sandwings were the only ones still in an alliance, as Blister turned on the Seawings. It was a horrible time to live on the continent.
Foresight is a Nightwing born in the rainforest. Like all the rainforest born dragonets, she did not have the strange Nightwing mouth bacteria from the island. She always dreamed of leaving the rainforest, but Morrowseer was the only one who ever left, and that was just for negotiations with Queen Blister. Life got boring with nothing new to see. Apparently the other tribes would love to catch a Nightwing out alone and defenseless...

Rainforest"Please...stop..." the chained Rainwing pleaded.
"Oh no no no, how can I stop? There's so much research to be done, we still don't understand how you dragons work." Mastermind replied.
"Mastermind." Another Nightwing called.
"Yes Morrowseer?" Mastermind shakily replied.
"The Queen Battlewinner demands you give your report on your research." The bigger dragon growled.
"W-what? B-but its n-not f-finished!" Mastermind stuttered.
"That's what you said a month ago, and the month before that, I'm going to make myself clear...stop stalling."
"It's not that simple, synthesizing Rainwing venom is not going as planned-"
"SILENCE!" Morrowseer roared, "DO NOT SPEAK OF THIS IN FRONT OF THE PRISONERS!"
"What...are you planning to do with our venom?" The Rainwing asked.
Morrowseer swiftly slit the throat of the prisoner. "Watch your words carefully Mastermind, you have no say in Battlewinner's plans."
"Just like I had no say in the killing of my son?" Mastermind countered.
"I want that report soon, no more stalling." And with that Morrowseer left.
He caught a glimpse of wide eyes in the shadows that had watched the whole thing. The dragon fled, and Mastermind followed the dragon.
Foresight flew behind a tree and hid there. She couldn't believe what she just saw. Rainwings? Alive? They said they were all dead. Mastermind came out of the cavern looking for the dragonet. She flew away quickly.
Sky Kingdom
"Tailwind!" A Skywing shouted.
"Yes sir?" He replied.
"We have heard reports of Sandwings on our border. Ruby wants you to go find and kill them." Tailwind nodded and flew off the cliff.
My first battle with Sandwings! He thought to himself. The group of five Skywings landed on a hill near the border.
"Stay alert." The commander said. Suddenly a trio of Sandwings flew by cautiously. "Attack!" The commander shouted and they all charged at the Sandwings.
One of them roared and slashed a Skywing with their venomous tail. Another snapped the neck of a second Skywing. The commander dove in and killed one of the Sandwings before being tackled by another. Two Skywings and one Sandwing were dead, leaving the commander struggling with the bulkiest one and Tailwind and his partner to kill the other one.
The Sandwing knocked away Tailwind and got bit by the other soldier before stinging him and fleeing.
"GET BACK HERE!" Tailwind shouted and pursued the Sandwing. They flew over hills and trees before Tailwind caught up and tackled him. The Skywing was going to deal the final blow, but he stopped. There wasn't hatred in his eyes, it was fear. This Sandwing was just another pawn of Blister.
Tailwind met up with the commander that just finished strangling the Sandwing.
"Did you kill the other one?" He asked.
"Y-yeah." Tailwind said. He hoped that he wouldn't regret the decision to spare that Sandwing's life.
Jade Mountain
The sun shone on Jade Mountain. Glimmer was lying in the sun thinking about all the horrible things that had happened.
"Hi Glimmer," Another Rainwing approached.
"Hello Kinkajou." Glimmer smiled.
"Were you thinking about the Rainforest? Me too, I miss all the mangoes and sloths and colors. Doesn't this dull mountain bore you?" Kinkajou kept blabbing as Glimmer rolled her eyes and laid her head down. At least someone can be happy. Glimmer thought. She looked up and saw the frantic black shape of a Nightwing coming their way.
Ice Kingdom
"Iceberg, you need to control yourself." Frost said
"I'm trying!" He said. The paper still continued freezing over.
"Iceberg, your body releases more cold than any other Icewing, if you want to leave the kingdom, you need to not freeze everything you touch."
"Yeah yeah yeah I know, use my animus powers to control the freeze bla bla bla."
"This is serious," Frost said, "your power could destroy the whole kingdom!"
"Ugh, I wish I wasn't born with these stupid powers, I wish I wasn't born with too much ice, I wish I could be normal."
"That's enough practice for today. If you want to control your power, you must learn how to use it." Frost said.
"How am I supposed to activate my powers then?" Iceberg asked.
"That is something only you can answer." Frost replied and went off to his sleeping cavern.
Iceberg sulked on his bed. He wished he could just use his power to make himself normal. Then he could forget about all this and be happy.
So this is the first chapter for ya, it may be a little boring but that's how setting up the plot goes my dudes, I will try to make the next chapter soon.
