Well, I was inspired for this in school today. –Squee squee-

Friends or duty? Not always an easy decision. On one hand, if you stay loyal to your friends, you won't lose them and they will love you forever. On the other hand, if you disappoint your duties, you disappoint a mass of people. Things can fall apart, yet you lose someone important to you. Sometimes this decision is forced on you and you don't know which way to turn. You are forced to decide. Where do you values lay, in friends or duty?
"I have to think about this." Naruto said softly as he walked out of the Hokage's room. Tsunade looked at him sadly. She knew this was a hard decision to be faced with. He would have to choose between staying within Konoha and thus remaining a citizen, or leaving to find Sakura and never be allowed back again for defying them and breaking the rules. He could become a criminal. It was hard for her to force this on him, but if he left, Konoha was in serious danger. He was an important factor to them, and his departure could ultimately ruin Konoha. It was an information problem. Spies were everywhere lately, targeting them.
He had to choose between Konoha and Sakura? That was unfair on so many levels. If he chose Konoha, he could live his comfortable life, as a somewhat respected citizen, and stay with the village that he loved. But, if he chose Sakura, he could save her life. He knew the repercussions of both. He could lose the one that he loved (Even if she didn't love him back) or he could lose the village that he loved. Which was more important to him? Why had she even run away in the first place? She left a note.
"Don't look for me. I just can't stay here anymore. I need to know. Please don't worry. I'll be OK."
What exactly did that mean? He really wanted her back. He really wanted to help her. She had shown no signs of wanting to leave. She seemed happy enough. But then, maybe he didn't pay enough attention. Maybe she had sent the signs, but he missed them. How would he know? But could he live his life without Konoha? Could he even bear to live as an outlaw? With this question weighing heavily on his mind, he turned off the lights and fell into a restless slumber.

Tsunade was pounding on his door. He had a mission, but she hadn't seen him all day. She had sent Neji to find him, but he was nowhere to be seen and wouldn't answer the door. After a few good minutes of this, Tsunade growled in anger and kicked down the door. "Naruto! Where are you!? We have been looking everywhere!" Still nothing. She walked into his bedroom. A small piece of paper with writing on it lay on his desk.
"I have made my decision."
She understood exactly what that meant. He had left to find her. She let a single tear escape her eye. It was not just a tear of sadness (though she knew that he could be turned away from the village) but it was also a tear of hope. Hope that he would find her and that he would be happy no matter what happened. "You have made your decision, Naruto. I'm rooting for you. Don't you dare screw this up." She said into the empty space. She turned and walked away.
