Prompt #145 (Plot Point) Dealing with a breakup

Slidding across from him in the booth. "So how's it going?" He waited for the other teen to answer him.

Hazel eyes harden slightly. "What are you doing here?" He snared out.

"Can't I ask how you are doing?" He replied with a raised eyebrow.

"Not when you are the one whom ended things Joaquin." Kevin hissed as he quickly slid out of the booth. "Not after you cheated on me. You don't have the right to ask me anything ever again." He walked down the isle towards the front of the Pops. He needed to get out of there.

Joaquin sighed as he watched Kevin storm out of Pops. I'm sorry that I hurt you Kevin. But I did in order to protect you. I had to break you in order to save you. He watched as the hurt teen walk down the sidewalk. His head leaning against the cool glass of the window. Tears sparkled in his eyes.
