she wants to stop

feeling this way

as much as she wants to stop
"Nothing is going to change between us. Nothing can never change between us because of how much we care for one another."
she is compelled
"Are you sure? Are you one hundred percent sure that nothing will come between us when we are miles apart?"
by all the possibilities of what is now
"We have something between us that will never go away, and I hope you believe that."
as opposed to what might be
"What happens in a few years when we meet again, and you have moved on?"
she doesn't want to believe that something else will happen
"I assure you, nothing will happen!"
even though some one is telling her otherwise
"How do you know for sure? You can't promise me anything. Things happen and people change."
she is heartbroken by the inevitable truth
"If you feel that way, maybe we shouldn't even be together!"
not wanting to accept it
"I am just telling you the truth!"
she runs away
"I have to go; I can't deal with this now. I have a flight to catch."
not wanting to confront it
"You can't run away from the truth!"
neither wanting to see it ever again
"Goodbye, Chad."
even though she knows it's the biggest mistake she will ever make
"Even if you run away from us, Sonny Munroe, just remember that nothing will ever change the way I feel about you."
And knowing that
