A/N:: Eh, for some reason, I had a sudden urge to write some Soulsilver. It came out of no where. I don't even actively ship them. But oh well. Reeeead the drabbley!
Make sure you let your feelings be known as soon as you meet them!
Silver returned his Cyndaquil quietly. This girl in odd clothing had beaten him?
"Hey, looks like you lost," Lyra said, sticking her tongue out at him.
"…Doesn't matter. I was going easy on you. I don't have any time for weak trainers like you, anyway," Silver said, walking off.
Make sure you don't leave without getting a name!
"'Silver'? That's more of a color, not a name, hmm?" Lyra said. Silver darted back and swiped his trainer card. "I'm Lyra, by the way."
"T-That doesn't matter to me!" Silver said, running off with a red face.
You must have a second meeting, no matter what!
"Ew, it's Silver again," Lyra said as Silver walked toward her.
"Ew, it's Lyra again," Silver said. The two off them stared at each other for a while, then Lyra chuckled.
"What, want me to beat you in a battle again? Or did you just want to see my cute face?" she asked. Silver glared at her, then walked away.
Let them know that you're sincere!
"I sincerely think you are the weakest trainer I've ever met," Silver said.
"I sincerely think you need to get a life," Lyra said.
Show them that you're sensitive!
Silver jumped as he suddenly felt cold breath on his neck. "Did I scare ya?" Lyra asked.
"N-No! But don't sneak up on me like that!" Silver said.
"I'd hardly call it sneaking, Silv," Lyra said.
Ask them out before someone else snatches them up!
"Hey, Lyra, wanna go see a movie with me Friday?" Ethan asked.
"Sure, I'd love t-" Lyra said, but was cut off when Silver suddenly stormed up.
"You can't go! You…you already committed to do that thing!" Silver said.
"What thing?" Lyra asked.
"That thing!" Silver said.
"What thing?"
"The thing you said you would do on Friday!"
"There isn't any thing!"
"Yes there is!"
"You're just making crap up!"
"Er…I'll come back later," Ethan said.
Try to notice subtle signs that give away their emotions!
Silver sat down with a tissue pressed against his now bleeding nose. "…Are you mad at me?"
Start to learn more about each other!
"You're wearing a skirt today?" Silver asked.
"Yep! It looks good on me, huh?" Lyra said, twirling for emphasis.
"Yeah, so do those yellow panties," Silver said. He learned that day that he really shouldn't try that kind of snark.
Make sure you always make plans!
Silver was about to turn away, but Lyra grabbed onto his sleeve. "Nuh-uh, not today you're not," she said. "It's Friday."
"What about Friday?" Silver asked.
"We're going to do some 'thing', remember?" Lyra said. Silver stared at her blankly. "What are you, a Magikarp? Let's go!"
Even if you're not enjoying yourself, don't be a party pooper!
Lyra rested her chin in her hands and scowled at Silver. "…What?" Silver asked.
"You look so upset right now," Lyra said. "I already said I'm going to pay for your meal."
"Well, I don't like it here," Silver said.
"Why not?"
"There are people on…dates here."
"So?"
"People will think we're on a date!"
"So?"
"We're not on one!"
"So?"
Always walk home with them!
"Walk me home," Lyra said.
"You know where you live," Silver said.
"I said, walk me home!"
Always give them a kiss goodnight!
"Okay, you're home! Happy now?" Silver said.
"No, not really," Lyra said.
"What?! We went to dinner and I walked with you all the way to yourself, what more do you-" Lyra broke him off with a kiss.
"See ya tomorrow, Silv," Lyra said, walking inside. Silver could only stare at the door in shock.
Jeepers creepers, that was lame. But oh well. Lame things are what make the world go 'round. Or…something.
