A/N: Wow! Look at all the stories I've done over the last week, and all
because I'm going on vacation. Maybe I should go on vacations more often.
When something goes bump in the night
And there are mysterious shadows on the wall
I close my eyes and hide
And I make sure not to fall.
For if I did, the monsters would get me,
Pull me under to their lair.
Where they would roust me, fry me, bake me.
Nobody could save me in time.
Not my caring mother or my working father.
Then I would be gone.
And they'd know I was the best son ever, even if I was a bother.
But for now, I'm hiding under my blanket.
Wishing that the monsters would come another day.
Then I see my best friend Hobbes
And all those troublesome fears slip away.
I snuggle down and close my tired eyes
As my pal Hobbes sleeps quietly
All is calm as a cool breeze runs through here.
