The Arrival
Mana, the source of all magic.
At least that's what I've been told.
Mana makes and shapes the world.
and magicians shape and change Mana.....
"Roland, Watch out!" Gerrad roared from the helm of the Weatherlight
as his new magician was suprised from behind by a Phyrexian monstrosity.
"Crap!" Roland shouted in suprise as he let a quick spell fly from
his fingers frying the mechanical beast and ripping another one that
was behind.
"Damn that was to close" Roland sighed in relief as he saw the
devistation below him. "This battle is lost...Dominia is doomed...."
The young magician began to sulk..and he heard something
"This way"
Was what he heard
"Follow me if you want to live"
Sounds good to me, thought Roland as he followed the voice.
A portal opened into a void that looked like space. Roland looked back
at his shattered world, at the losing warriors, and plunged headlong
into the Gate.
Chapter 1
A New World
Roland felt like he had been wrung through the laundry when he finally
came to. He looked down at himself to check his condition. He looked
alright, nothing swelling or burning. Roland got up and began to seach
this barren void of existance.
"Jeez, I left Dominia for this?" Thought Roland as he continued to
walk through the nothingness.
"Welcome" said he, who you would know as Clow Reed, but to Roland was
mearly a stranger.
"I guess you brought me here, huh?"
" I did" Reed said with a mighty swing of his arm. "I am Clow Reed,
creator of the magical Clow cards."
"Well I'm Roland ap....I mean Master Magician of Dominia"
"Well Master Magician" Said Clow Reed with his usual smile. "I have a
task for you, I'm about to create a new Clow Card, but were the clow
book is now, I'm dead"
"Bummer"
"Yes it is, this card will go out of control unless you contain it"
''Look, I don't deal with tarot cards, I'm a Planeswalker, I use mana
and only mana, no exception"
Reed just continued to smile and speak "Contain this card, and'll you
find the rainbow valley with the card's aid"
Roland began to drool with anticipation, the Rainbow Valley, the
ultimate source of Mana. Bathe in it's mana rich waters and you're
powers will go beyond your wildest imagination. Roland snapped himself
back to reality and wiped off the drool. "Your on! But the second I've
got the card, I'm in the Rainbow valley and I don't know you got it?"
"No problem, just let me do this one thing." Reed answered with his
trademark Smile as he touched Roland's chest once with his index finger.
"What was the point of that, to mess up my rob....." Roland went limp
as his head split open, and what appeared to but a bunch of playing
card sized magic cards flew out of his head and into a small book.
As his head mended itself by magic Roland staggered around.
"Ouch, what the hell was that for!?!?!"
"That mearly made your magic acsesable to the new world your about to
go to, Calling spells by memory doesn't work were your going, So I
made your spell memories cards."
"Alright just worn me next time your gonna split my head open like
that"
Reed laughed and assured him that he wouldn't need to do that again
as he opened the Gate to Readington, and the empty house across from
Sakura's....
