A/N: Wow this took a long time to get this up. But I've totally been hooked on this book called Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. It is THE BEST book I have ever read. So go read it. Then go read my stories. Lol ok back to this. I have NO idea where I'm going with this, so if you have any ideas PLEASE tell me. For now I will continue changing the parts in the book. Soooo enjoy!

Jake had been to busy rocking a sleeping Sam to sleep to notice Dr. Scott pull up. Jake tried not to act surprised when his face suddenly appeared in front of him. To afraid of waking Sam up, he didn't put her down to talk. "How are they?" he whispered, low so Sam wouldn't wake up and start freaking out.

"I think the Phantom is deaf. I don't know if it's permanent. The other…I need to examine him more closely when the sedatives have taken affect. Can you tell me what happened?" Dr. Scott followed Jakes lead and whispered.

"There was a shock-wave, sort of. I think from the paint cans over there." He pointed to where he thought they had previously been.

"That would explain the red on their coats. And why the Phantom seems to have trouble hearing. The wave might have been the cause." Dr. Scott nodded with what he was saying. "The Phantom ran off, but I'm taking the other with me to my office. I think you should get Sam out of here, it's not healthy. I will call here later. Are you going to stay with her?"

Jake just nodded, and tried to pick Sam up without waking her up. Adjusting her so she was easier to carry, he started to walk back up to the house, when Sam sighed and snuggled into Jake's chest. Hiding a smile as he walked past his grinning brothers, who were at least smart enough to keep their mouths shut, he carried her into the house and set her into an empty bed.

Ok's, that's all for now. Sorry it's so short. I'm leaving for Florida on June 15th and won't be back for 5 or 6 weeks. Soo I will be updating all my stories constantly before then. But, because I have so many, the more reviews I get, the quicker I will update this story… Remember to tell me if you have any ideas!!!
