She sat on a train, staring out window. She stirred her tea, sighing at the relaxing evening she was having. Her elegant features looked bored, but her eyes had a touch of sorrow.

On her shoulder blade on her back, was a white guild insignia, the one of the vainty guild, Blue Pegasus. Except she didn't emenate standoffishness and vanity as the other members did. She looked kind, which was hard to find in a wizard of her status.

This young woman had the power of an entire guild, no one knew this though, for she had to keep her identity secret. She had to hide, even if she was there first. That's when a note fluttered into her view of vision, a little wax sealed envelope, with the Blue Pegasus insignia imprinted on it.

She opened it, and a hologram manifested to life. "Good evening, Maisie." It was her guildmaster.

"Hello, Master." She smiled warmly, turning towards him.

"How was the job?" He asked.

"Easy, as usual..." she sipped her tea. "Don't you get any jobs that will challenge me?"

"Well there is the Grand Magic Games..."

"We already discussed this, Master. I can't let that person know I am in the same guild as him. The Magic Games would blow my cover instantly." Maisie sighed.

"I know, we'll do fine without you, as usual." The Master smiled, waving off the thought.

"Of course you will, but I will be there, cheering you on."

"You're coming this year?" He asked hopefully.

"Of course I am, just, not as a Blue Pegasus member. I bought a seat, front row, right by your box. I should blend in pretty normally." She said.

"How so?" He asked.

"I picked up a bit of Transformation Magic from a employer a couple months back, he gave me a book, I've been studying it."

"You're a Gem-Make wizard, Maisie."

"I realize this, but another month and I'll have it down." She smiled, trying to reassure him.

"Good, because the competition is in a month."

"I know, Master," She said, losing her enthusiasm. "He's participating again this year, isn't he?"

"He is, and I wish-"

"Master, who are you speaking with?" A new voice asked. Maisie quickly shut the envelope, and crumpled it up, shoving it in her pocket. She recognized that voice, she didn't want to hear it either. It stabbed her through the heart and made her want to cry.

But the Grand Magic Games, those she wasn't particularly looking forward to. She'd rather not risk the chance of being found out, no one knew she was in Blue Pegsus, and no one knew where she was. Not even her parents had heard from her in a few years.

But she'd told the Master she would, so now, she has to.
