AN: The ambitious side of me will try to update this weekly, this is something I had in mind since 2007 but never got around to it, it's a crossover but mixes Xcom mythology with the 1994 original and with the Justice League the cast I have in mind is smaller but features key characters with recognizable traits, I haven't read a JL comic for a long time so am a bit out of research and the new 52 material does me no favours, so some JL characters history and events will be based and adapted from Bruce Timm's Justice League animated series, the best template to build from as a lot of people are familiar with it. Though I do stress on based. Any Q&A I'll put down on at the end of the story, this is my only AN, everything else is the story.

Hello Commander, as promised I have a full handover report of operation Martian Solution; it accounts on events from all sides with testaments from our front field operatives, sponsors to interrogated hostiles, and operatives from third parties that occurred during the events of the operation.

I will inform you now Commander that the full account composes of highly sensitive Intel which neither I, Doctor Shen or Vahlen know about, we have all given separate accounts and our represent sponsor has given his.

You are in an entitled position to receive information collected from all parties into one detailed report. So I must remind you that what you about to read is for you alone, you have the privilege to read the entirety of what happened over the past few weeks that initiated Martian Solution, its discoveries and conclusion and in turn once read must decide what our best course is. You have my complete support as you have proven invaluable since Devil's Moon.

But on a personal level I must stress this to you that from my account and others I have looked over that we are at the twilight of our campaign, no one since has matched the charts of the volunteer, whose sacrifice should had ended the threat, but now we have what Doctor Shen had feared, the start of a direct intervention by the hostiles, or in Vahlen's case it was to be an 'expected chapter'.

Whatever you decide Commander, make sure it's us that gets the last turn of the dice.

There'll be no second chance after this.
