One peaceful day in minecraft, Samuel and his friend max the creeper were hanging out by the tide pools. The tide pools were Samuels's favorite spot in the whole world, but judging by how Samuels's world was just; a cave, the tide pools, and the beach, that really wasn't much to it.

Max looked around and then at Samuel. "Ssssamuel, I sssence ssssomething." He turns and looks up towards the mountains to see a man running slope carrying a sword.

"Oh, stop it Max. You're always trying to scare me with your tricks, but it won't work this time." Samuel smiles and continues looking into the deepest of the pools; the little fish swimming around in them put Samuel into a trance.

The man stopped on his right foot and spun to grab a map from the back pack. "SSSSAMUEL, HE'SSS RIGHT OVER THERE!" He picked the slime up with his front legs and spun him around to see the human. "We have to hide! If we don't, he'll kill ussss, just like those humans did to freckles!"

Samuel hopped back a few blocks and then took off towards his cave, Max following close behind. "What if he finds us? Humans are attracted to caves!" he began to breath heavily and started to cry. Max looked down at him and hugged Samuel.

"If he getssss in I'll protect you, you will always be safe while you're with me." Max knew what to do if the human got into the cave; he was given the responsibility of protecting the slime, at all costs. Samuel's crying slowed as he was comforted by his friend's warmth, but his comfort didn't last, Samuel could feel the light from a torch. The man had entered the cave. Muttering something in human, he placed the torch down on the wall and coughed into his hand.

"Ssstay away from the light, Ssssamuel." Max took a step back and Samuel hopped backwards, making a plopping sound. The human looked up from a note book, grabbed another torch, lit it, and tossed it into the darkness. Max and Samuel where caught in the light of the burning wood. He shouted more words in human and equipped his sword. "RUN!" The creeper shoved Samuel back deeper into the cave and launched forward at the man.

Seconds later the sound of an explosion echoed through the tunnels, but Samuel didn't stop hopping. He could barely see through the darkness of the deep cavern, and a few minutes passed before he stopped running. He rested on a black of coal, and took a couple breaths. He looked up to see glowing purple eyes in the darkness. He tried to look away, but being the only source of light he couldn't fight it. He stared into the eyes of the monster and it stared back, a horrendous screech was heard and the eyes moved forward, getting ready to strike from any direction at any time.
