It was a regular day. High School had just been let out. All the Teens were heading home so I decided to wait for my brother Kendall. I checked my watch it was 3:30! Where is he? I thought. Just as I finished thinking I heard the door open. I looked over to see Kendall and his friend John walking out of the building. They were talking about some guy named Blaze. I waved. "Hey Kendall come on we're late!"
"Late for what?"
"Mom said we have to get home to do our homework by 3:45!"
"Oh yeah! Come on John!"
So we walked to his car (it was a Ferrari and I still didn't know how he got the money to buy it) and I got in the back seat. He started the car just as a police car drove by. The police's sirens and lights turned on.
"Oh crap!" Kendall muttered.
The officer drove up.
"Is there a problem officer?" Kendall asked.
"One of your tail lights aren't lighting up." came the reply through the window
"Really? It was working fine when I came to school..."
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to ticket you."
"No don't give me one just yet."
"OK but you have 30 seconds."
Kendall got out of the car and walked to the back of the car. He flicked it and the light came on.
"Hmm weird. Well I guess you don't need a ticket after all then..."
Kendall got back in.
"Kendall how did you get it to go back on? It wasn't working this morning!"
"A little trick called change the bulb during school!"
"Ummmmm, guys? You're late!" John said.
