Emotions of a Brit

Seeing the expression on his face when she told him they should break up was heartbreaking. She knew that breaking up with him would be hard. After all he had suffered through his parents break up too. Plus she really didn't want to break up with him. It was her fear of a long term relationship that made her break up with him. She didn't want to hurt him. So what was she to do? She stressed about it all throughout the beginning of summer and most of her visit. She made the decision right before she had to go home to her fighting parents and an absent twin sister gone hurriedly away to a summer music program where she would be away from them. So she broke up with Eddie. Hearing his response was the worst.

He was fine with it? He didn't want to continue a relationship either? Patricia didn't know if she should be happy or heartbroken. But it was too late to go back now. She was already on the plane to go back to England. The flight attendants were checking in with everybody. There were no do-overs. Patricia doubted that even if she called Eddie back, he wouldn't want to get back together. She shook her head to get rid of the angsty thoughts. Then shook it again to get rid of the tears. Patricia didn't cry. She hadn't when she had broken her ankle in the third grade and she hadn't when Eddie had admitted that their first dance had been a bet. "Ma'am?" the cheery flight attendant asked "five minutes till all technology is turned off. Now is the time to make any last minute calls."

Patricia stared at the flight attendant. Last minute calls? Was she a mind reader or something? Was it fate? The flight attendant looked a little freaked out. "Er-Ma'am?" she asked timidly. Patricia burst out of her train of thought. "Um yeah sure, um right." She stammered feeling like an idiot. "Last minute calls yeah? Thank you" Looking suspicious the flight attendant moved on while Patricia pulled out her cell phone. Who to call? Who to call? Slowly she scrolled through her contacts as the sunset faded outside and with it Peddie's (Ambers stupid name for Her and Eddie) relationship.

"Hello?"

"Trixie?"

Patricia burst into tears causing the same flight attendant to narrow her eyes at her from three rows away. "Oh Piper, I just broke up with Eddie!"

So there you have it. Both sides to the Peddie (unlike Patricia I don't think that name is stupid) breakup.*sob* *sob* any way thanks to my amazing sis for sorta Beta-ing me and to all of you wonderful reviewers! Since I only have four (don't worry I am not guilt tripping anyone) I will shout out to all of them.
