Oneshot number one: The Ghosts Around My Head.
Klaus Hargreeves x Original Character.
He'd been sitting on the railing for days, letting his feet hang over while he watched the millions who lived in the city go about their daily business. It was a hobby of his, to climb up to the apartment's roof and dance with the stars, often, when he wasn't leaning over, pacing the cement- but he was definitely surprised when, at about twelve 'o clock at night, the metal door swung open with a creak.
"Erm.. are you.. Klaus? Klaus Hargreeves?"
"Excuse me?"
He lifted himself up, turning towards whoever had said his name. A boy, about Klaus's age, wearing a black parka and holding a ouija board, looked up with such surprise and embarrassment, it almost made him laugh.
"Are you-er... the Séance? Klaus Hargreeves?"
He titled his head. "Um. Yes."
And it was silent.
The boy had a hint of a smile, but Klaus saw something in his eyes- something like regret, sadness.
And he became incredibly wary of the ouija board.
"What do you need?"
"I need you. Well, your help. You see," the boy stated, tucking the board underneath his arm, "my dad was killed here by an assassin, and I wanna know who did it so I can thank him."
Klaus's face, if not already, terribly confused, sunk.
Audibly, he whispered- "What the actual fuck?"
That story did NOT go the way he was expecting, but it interested him all he same.
"I'm assuming that's a yes. Em, my name is Eden Capone, and my dad? Tax evasion."
"Your dad's name was tax evasion?"
Eden laughed, loudly. "What! It should've been. His name was-wheeze, sorry- his name was Alexander Capone."
"Sure, I'll help you. How'd you find me?"
"Not everyone sits on a apartment roof's railing at three am, Hargreeves."
"And not everyone stalks that person, Capone."
Klaus took the ouija board from him, levitating it above his head. "You know the rules?"
"Obviously."
"Then let's begin."
"YOU SAID YOU KNEW THE-wheeze-YOU SAID YOU KNEW THE RULES!"
Klaus was laying on the ground, laughing his ass off. Eden was yelling at him.
"I DIDN'T KNOW I COULDN'T CALL MY DEAD DAD A CUNT!"
They'd spent three hours contacting Alexander Capone- and Eden lost his temper. Klaus was on the verge of crying.
"We-we never did find out who did it."
"We didn't."
"But I have a idea."
