Hm, the words to the Lord's Prayer should be italicized. After wrestling with my stupid browser fo 20 minutes, I gave up. A Nightcrawler POV poem.

Forgive Me Father, For I Have Sinned

AN:  X2 movie universe.  Inspired by the scene in the church, when Storm, Jean Grey, and Kurt are in Kurt's room and Storm asks him about the symbols in his skin.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name,

Angelic symbols.  One for each sin.  So many.  Beautiful.

So many.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven,

Fear, anger.  That is power.

Faith…. is power.

Give us this day our daily bread,

He is…. testing me.  Faith….

And lead us not into temptation,

One for each sin.  So many.  Fear-

But deliver us from evil,

I am Kurt Wagner.  The Amazing Nightcrawler!

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever;

Amazing…. Kurt.  Just…. Kurt.

My faith is my power.  And I will be strong.
