Serena's part. A poem during one of the nights she was waiting for Stanton to come

This is my very first work for the Daughters of the Moon section since I only write fanfics in the Slam Dunk section. So I hope you'll like it. Its Serena's part by the way. The night when she's waiting for Stanton. I really love them both! ^^

Waiting Beneath The Light of The Moon

The night is black, stars winked down at me

I gazed down, the shadows threatening me

And to the full moon, I raised a silent prayer

Waiting, for the night to bring you here.

The wind was blowing hard, swishing

Golden dangling earrings waver, in the light, sparkling

The clock started to move, its hands at twelve

Just whisper, if in the dark, you are there.

Ding dong, the clock told me, you were late

Still I'll be waiting to know if you are safe

May the moon guide you to my embrace

May I feel my fingertips grazed your face

The curtains fluttered, a tear gleamed in the dark

There is a reason, but sleep took its part

Yet my heart, it's throbbing,

Wishing,

Waiting.

But you never came.

You never came at all.

Not even to whisper a silent goodbye.
