A Cry in the Night
The wind blows as fierce as a wolf,
Trees creek from the pressure of the dark.
Dogs bark,
An owl asks his question.
All goes silent in a moment,
And in the silence,
A pleading call can be heard,
In the dead of night.
A man,
Unlike any other comes to her aid.
When he finds her,
She is almost inhuman looking.
Both are hiding a secret,
Both unknowing that they are hiding the same thing.
And it all began,
With a cry in the night,
For soon to be lovers.
