The flight to Orbis was taking so long, Reliven felt he would die from the boredom. And if that wasn't enough, the group of Lv. 25 Magicians in the corner wouldn't stop mocking him. Sure it was weird seeing a Lv. 13 Warrior heading to Ludibrium, but he had to send Stan's Letter to Omega Sector. The two girl magicians snickered and looked at him.
"Are you sure you shouldn't be back at Maple Island?" The group of magicians laughed at him. Annoyed, he went back to the deck.
The minutes felt like hours as he sat at the top of the sail. Prehaps Vrixent was right. He shouldn't have took this quest, but he needed the Mesos badly. He was in debt to the Shadow Archer guild, and had to pay them Mesos every week for the ores they sold him. If he missed a payment, they would bug him and bug him until he repaid them. He wanted to be a travelling salesman when he had better levels, which was why heneeded the ores. He sighed and knew the world was much darker than his carefree days on Maple Island.
His thoughts were interrupted by omnious music. He knew what was coming. He had heard stories and tales of the fearsome beast that ruled the skies. He quickly made a jump to the deck as the Barlog flew towards him. It was faster than him, but he still made a run for the door. Reliven made it just before the Barlog catched up to him. Back in the inside, the magicians snickered again.
"Had fun with the Barlog?" One of them asked. Reliven glared at them.
"Oh, stuff you!" He yelled. Luckily, the flight ended before they could think of another remark.
