Mike looked at his son, smiling. Mark was only a little kid and he had one big green eye and looked exactly like his dad except he was a darker green. Cecilia and Mike smiled at eachother, thinking that they were blessed with a child.
When they finnaly got to the beach, it was crowded, but Mark did'nt care! He an out into the water with his floaties and flippers on with his parents right behind him. Then, Cecilia's necklce came straight off he rneck and into the ocean.
"Hang on Shmoopsiepoo! I'll get it"
"Daddy"
"Hang on, Mark Daddy is looking for Mommy's necklace..." While Mike and Cecilia looked for the necklace, Mark swam only about 3 feet away when he bumped into someone. He turned around to see...no one. No one at all. He shrugged and started to swim back to his parents when he hit something again.
"What the"
"BOO"
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH"
Mark screamed as he seen an indigo monster begin to appear from nowhere. She was fully visible by the time Mark realized that she was laughing hysterically. The monster was about maybe 6 inches taller than Mark and she was reptillian and had 4 arms and 4 legs. Mike gasped as he seen what happend. It was all too familiar. (Flashback)

"AAAAAHHHHHH"
"Well whaddaya know? It scares little kids and llittle monsters"

Mike swam over to Mark swiftly an grabbed the other monster by the throat. "Listen Randall! Stay away from my kid"
"MICHAEL:
"What! It's Ra- ...oh..sorry.." Mike said letting the monster go, seeing that this one was female, indigo, and smaller than Randall.
The monster gasped for air, holding her throat.
"I'm so sorry-I thougt-I mean-No-He's..." Mike said confused and embarassed.
"Are you okay?" Mark asked.
"Besides being choked by your dad thinking that I was my dad, then yeah I am. Everyone says I look like my dad." the girl replied. There was a silence until Mike asked in disbelief "Wait. Randall Boggs is your /dad"
"Yeah, why"
"No reason"
After a few minutes,Mark started up a conversation.
"I'm Mark." He said smiling.
"I'm Danielle." she said also grinning.
"Wanna play Marco Polo"
"Sure"
"I'll be it"
"No turning 'invishibel"
"Aww! Okay..1...2...3"
Mike and Cecilia watched the kids on the beach. They were close to the kids, but not so close the kids could hear their quiet conversation.
"Can you beleive that Randall has a daughter"
"What was that, Wazowski"
Mike nervously turned around to see a frighteningly familiar monster behind him with all 4 arms crossed.
"AAAAHHHHH! Oh-uh..Hi Randall! I see that you're back"
"Can it. Dani, it's time to go home!" Randall called to Danielle. Dani was he r nickname.
"Aww...by Mark..." Danielle said sadly but then ran to her father happily. "Hi daddy"
"Hi Dani"
Danielle jumped into her fathers 4 open arms.
Mike watched, seeing a side of Randall he never seen before, or think was even possible. He was stunned. Anyone who knew what Randall did before woud make him look incapable of love...and yet yet here he was...holding his /child/. That was the part that surprised (almost scared) Mike the most. As the two reptillian monsters began to walk away.
"Daddy, guess what"

"I learned hwo to turn invisible, just like you can"
After a moment he couldnt hear them anymore.
"Woah, that was creepy"
"Why daddy"
Mike was silient. How was he supposed to tell his child that his new best freind's father was one of the only people Sulley-even with his big heart- hated?
