J'Adore

J'Adore.

"Hey mom!" Cal called running to me. I turned to see my youngest son running towards me with a huge red Popsicle. He had his fathers black curls and looked exactly like Paul. Luckily he had less of Paul's influence and more of my husband, new husband Jesse and mine. I'd divorced Paul two years ago when Jesse came back and told me that Paul had exorcised him back in time to make sure he never met me. I always thought Jesse had left me, but he hadn't and now we're married. The only problem is, Calvin, six and Tyler, fifteen. Both my kids with Paul who refuse to call Jesse "Dad". Acutely Tyler chooses to ignore and Jesse and hardly ever talk to me. All because of the fact Paul has brainwashed him in the weekends they stay with him.

I glanced at Tyler he also looked like Paul and was currently leaning against Paul's new Aston Martin with his iPod. "Hey Suzie." Said a VERY familiar voice. I turned to see Paul holding Calvin's bags. He looked the same, still jet-black curls, muscular and tanned. "Get out of my house!" I snapped grabbing the bags from him. "It's MY house, remember." He said with a grin. Of course it was his house. I'd only got it because of the fact I kept our three children. The thirds baby Chloe, who doesn't look like Paul but instead has brunette hair, like me. She had been born a year ago, after the divorce Paul had made me stop working. Well not that he had the authority to because I'd ignored him. Until he took me to court with his fancy set lawsuit. Now that Chloe has grown up a little I could be a personal shopper again. "Tyler!" I called to my eldest son. Who just stared at me, and then walked inside without even a "Hello mom."

"How's Chloe?" Paul asked.

"With Jesse." I replied as Jesse walked out carrying Chloe. Jesse was wearing a pair of Levi's and a plain tee shirt. Paul on the other hand had a new black Prada suit with luscious Cologne. I could sense Paul smirking at Jesse. The other difference was that Paul owned a business and Jesse was a low assistant to a journalist. Jesse handed Chloe to Paul.

Paul stared down at her and started tickling her; she looked up at him and started laughing.

" Paul seeing as we don't live together I would appreciate it if we didn't still have a joint account." I said. It had been Jesse's idea, but I love Jesse.

"Whatever you say Suzie. But you and the cowboy could never afford to live the way you do. Face it, you need my money." Paul said with a smirk. Well Jesse had promised me that we'd move to a smaller house, back in Carmel.

What I didn't see was Jesse smirking, my biggest mistake.

(A/N: Does Jesse even like Suze or is he using her to get back at Paul? But there's something bad about Jesse. Need five reviews at least for the next chapter.)
