Written for ErynPotter's 100 stories under 100 words challenge and RoonilFreakin'Wazlib's Lyric and Line Challenge.

I used the prompt Water for the 100 stories challenge.

I used the song "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield, the prompt Gaps and the quote "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts" - Winston Churchill, for the Lyric challenge. I used it all as inspiration.

Word-count: 100

It had been two years since that horrible manboy had left Albus's life.

But whether Elphias liked it or not, Grindelwald hadn't left him for real.

He was still a big part of Albus.

And it pained Elphias to see it.

He wanted to comfort Albus so very much.

But that sort of comfort needed courage.

Elphias had managed to get Albus home to his place.

He had even made tea.

"Are you feeling alright, Albus?"

He poured boiled water.

"Fine, thank you."

It was so very awkward.

"I can take… his place…"

Albus's smile was piteous. "No. You can't."
