Raven stared at Beast Boy. Not green skinned, green haired, pointy eared Beast Boy
Just... Normal Beast Boy.
He was in a green tee- shirt and brown colored pants, his once- green hair now blonde and spiked and his pale skin slightly tanned. He was sitting at a desk, lost in thought. She knew what she had to do, but wasn't sure how to do it. She found herself feeling a little embarrassed for wondering what he was thinking.
"Ummm..." She said, breaking the silence. Beast Boy didn't acknowledge her. She decided to continue...
"I know I'm not good at this... But we need you to help us... Help us find out who did it... And how they did it." Beast Boy was silent once again.
Raven approached silently. "Beast Boy... We just want to help-"
"DON'T CALL ME 'BEAST BOY!'" He screamed, whipping his head around to face her, tears threatening to spill. Raven stood in shock by his out burst. She didn't expect this at all. And she didn't expect what was coming next.
Tears streamed down the young man's face. He shut his eyes, not sure of what Raven's reaction would be.
"The beast inside me... Is gone now... J- Just call me Garfield from now on..." He chocked out, more tears falling. He covered his eyes with his hand, sobbing harder. He hated when Raven saw his weak side. He was really taken by surprise when a sudden warmth enveloped him.
"It's alright Garfield..." Raven said in a small voice, allowing Garfield to cry on her shoulder. She didn't care that his tears were staining her uniform, and she definently didn't care of what the others would think.
The two stayed in that position for a while, letting each other have their peace...
