Another Sesame Street sketch rewrite, this time it's a sketch where Mr Johnson goes to the movies. Enjoy and comment.
One rainy afternoon, Mr Johnson decided to visit the movie theater to see a movie.
He was hungry, so he went to the concession stand for some food.
However, the line was very long.
"Why are these food lines so long here?" wondered Mr Johnson. "All I want is some popcorn."
But there was a big surprise waiting for Mr Johnson. Grover worked the concession stand,
"Oh no!" cried Mr Johnson. "It can't be you!"
"Yes it is I, your furry blue concession stand monster! Now, what can I get you today?"
"Popcorn please." said Mr Johnson. "And hurry along, the movie is starting!"
"Alright sir, what size popcorn do you want?" asked Grover. "Do you want the big popcorn, the bigger popcorn, or the biggest popcorn?"
"I'll take the big popcorn." said Mr Johnson.
"But sir!" interrupted Grover. "You get more value with the bigger popcorn."
"I don't want the bigger popcorn, I want the big popcorn!"
Mr Johnson went to grab the big popcorn, but Grover pushed him away.
"The movie you are seeing is very long." said Grover. "You'll do better with the biggest popcorn."
"I don't care! I want the big popcorn!"
"You get more for your money!"
"No! I can't eat that much popcorn!"
"Then give it to your wife!"
"She doesn't like popcorn!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
Mr Johnson began grabbing the big popcorn from Grover, but Grover refused to let the big popcorn go.
At last, Grover let go, but Mr Johnson fell… and got covered in popcorn from head to toe!
"Now that is a very good movie fashion!" said Grover.
Mr Johnson began to cry. Poor Mr Johnson!
