One-shot. Hope you like it. I don't own Naruto or 'Your Love'.

Find me in the dark

I'll be in the stars

Find me in your heart

I'm in need of your love

Snow fell down on the village. From afar it looked as if the whole village where covered in a white blanket. On closer inspection, you could still see a hint of color on the eternal white.

The young kunoichi sighed, seeing the puff of white coming form her mouth she wondered if that is what if it would look like if the soul left your body.

Breathing into her hands to warm them up, she hopped over rooftops hoping to find who she was looking for. It shouldn't be that hard to find someone against the white of the snow, but it seemed her friend can blend in with the scenery. Well, she'll just have to be the better ninja.

After what seemed like hours, the kunoichi didn't know where else to search. She's been to all the spots where the ninja could be. She even checked Ichiraku's. Not a soul was there. Standing on the fourth hokage's head carving, she surveyed the area. White. Silence. and Sadness. The whole village was in mourning.

Spotting movement she watched closer and saw her friend. "Finally" she mumbled as she jumped off the carving and landed on the stairs below. Running towards her destination, she hoped that she wasn't too late.

Stepping into the forest clearing, the kunoichi scowled. Of course. This is where they…..happy memories, and tragedy's happened here here.

Slowly, she walked up to the ninja. "Hinata…" stretching out her hand to touch her, Sakura hesitated. "Hinata, it's cold.."

Hinata stood like a statue, not a single hair moved. She stared up at the sky in silence, not really seeing it, almost as if she were remembering.

She's been here since the morning, watching the sun rise, reminding her of his smile. She couldn't forget that smile. She was there as the sun climed higher up the sky, until it was at the very top, like him. From the ground he climbed up to the very top and shone as bright as the sun, and then, unlike the sun which takes it time to slip back into the earth, he was simply gone. In an instant he vanished before her eyes.

It was night now, dark and cold, exactly how she felt inside. Her sun was gone, never again was she to see the bright smile that warmed her to the bone, to smell his earthy scent or to hear his laughter, never will she hear him whisper her name when they were alone, or feel his arms around her at night.

"Hinata.."

Someone was there, talking to her. It isn't him though, not his voice. Turning to face whoever intruded on her, Hinata saw the pink-haired ninja with a worried look on her face. "Hinata, let's go inside to warm you up, you could get sick." the young medic reached out to her. "Let's go, okay. You had us worr-"

A tear escaped Hinata's eyes. Looking up at the starry night sky all she could see was his smiling face and the face that haunted her every minute, his blood-covered face with those lifeless eyes as he whispered her name before life left his body, she whispered;

"I think he died for me."

AN: So, what do you think? I got the idea from watching Criminal Minds. It's the episode called 'Demon' or 'Demonology' and in the last scene the dark haired girl looks up at the sky, snow falling on her face and whispers "I think he died for me." I saw that and I had to write a story with that sentence! As for a back story to this, I probably wont do one cause even I don't know what happened. So you can make your own scenario that led to this.

P.S Yes, Naruto is the one that died.

P.S.S The first rhyme is from Nicki Minaj's Your Love. And for those reading 'Rice Pudding' sorry about the wait, I'm trying to make the chapter longer and I only have time to write once a week and I'm trying to figure out which way to go with the story.

Review Please.
