A/N: This is based on a discussion/prompt on Tumblr, as one of the fans realized that Andy would be celebrating 20 years of sobriety this year. Several writers came up with different versions of how Sharon and Andy would celebrate it together, and this is mine. I hope you enjoy reading it.

He had a little spring in his step and he was beaming more than Sharon had ever seen him. She was happy to see him this way, and his happiness was definitely contagious. She hoped no case will ruin the plans that she made for the two of them to spend the evening together. She had planned this little surprise for a little over three weeks and cancelling something so important would be really disappointing.

She could barely contain her happiness when the day seemed to run smoothly and the entire squad was ready to leave the murder room by 5PM. It was then that she walked towards Andy's desk and took a seat on the edge, crossing her legs and leaning back just a little. He smiled at her as she playfully tugged at his tie and winked at him.

"Hey you," he said, his eyes darkened by passion. Sharon knew it meant he was aroused, and normally, she would have ignored it and try to act chastely rather than attempting to tempt him, but not today. She smiled at him sweetly. "What are you up too?" he wondered, recognizing that this was not her usual behavior, especially not at work.

"Some little bird told me that you are celebrating 2 decades of sobriety today," she said. Andy nodded. "And because I think it's a remarkable accomplishment, and I am so proud of you, I thought we should honor the occasion with a dinner at the most romantic place in LA."

"That sounds great, sweetheart," Andy stood and placed one hand on her knee.

"So I made a reservation at Serve, and afterwards," she paused. "Afterwards, I thought we could head to your place, and continue celebrating there, all night long," the sultry tone of her voice gave no room for interpretation.

"I like the sound of that," Andy leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, glad that they were alone at the office.

"Good. I'm ready to leave here when you are," she said and slid off his desk, adjusting the strap of her purse on her shoulder. She watched Andy as he slipped into his jacket and grabbed his phone and car keys. He gave her an affirmative nod, and they walked out of the murder room together. As they went into the elevator, Sharon smiled to herself, feeling the excitement spreading across every part of her body. She could barely wait until Andy saw that lingerie set that she picked for their nightly celebration. Admittedly, she couldn't think of anything else she could give Andy as a gift, and so the idea of unwrapping her was the best next thing. Regardless of anything she could give him, she knew that the best gift was what he has already given to himself; sobriety is its own reward.

THE END
