Savior



The boy who is our savior

Is he the one who defies god?

Or the only one who serves god?

He who walks with pain

To stand tall and triumphant



Is he aided by the devil?

Or something more fearful?

On his path

To attain his fate

Enduring his baptism in fire



He loves

He hates

He hopes

He fears

He is human



On him we must depend

And on others he must depend

Can he find the love he needs?

Enduring agony in his heart

A tortured child



Will all sacrifices be in vain?

All returned to nothingness?

Or will he prevail?

Nothing can be gained from death

Including death of the self
