Summery – Post Leaping Lizards, GSR. Grissom tries to explain why he never sent her the letter. VERY short, please R&R!
Author's Note – AMAZING GSR SCENE!!! Holy crap that was a great scene, I loved it. And the fact that they were watching Godzilla…I found that really funny actually. And I loved the dog, wonder how Sara got him to agree to that! Question though, what the hell was Grissom doing at the end of the episode? I mean, WTF?
"Where you planning on giving this to me?"
Grissom looked up from the table to see Sara leaning against the wall with a strange look on her face.
"Giving you what?" He asked, taking off his glasses.
"Even though we're far apart, I can see you as clearly as if you were here with me... I said I'll miss you, and I do." She walked closer to him, a small smile on her face.
Grissom flushed, "Uh…"
"Uh…what?" Sara asked, coming over and sitting on his lap. Grissom put his arms around her small waist, holding her close.
"I guess I was scared," he told her, shrugging his shoulders.
Sara leaned in closer, "of what?"
"I was a jerk before I left; I was scared that you would want nothing to do with me." He helped her off of his legs, standing up and turning out the lights, before leading her over to the bed.
"I was pretty angry," she remarked as she shook her hair out of her pony tail, setting the elastic on the side table. "If I had gotten that before you came home, I might have been
in a better mood."
"You weren't that bad," Grissom told her as he spooned up against her. "Move, boy," he ordered their dog gently, trying to pull the covers up higher, knowing that Sara got cold easily.
"Don't be mean," she snapped, her voice already bleary with sleep.
"I'm not," he assured her as he started drifted off. "I promise."
"Love you," Sara said, turning over so she could rest her head on his chest. Grissom looked down at her, placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"And I you."
Author's Note – Wow. That was probably the shortest fic I've ever written. Anyways, PLEASE REVIEW!!! Oh, and did anyone catch their dog's name, I felt cruel calling him 'boy'. Thank again for reading!
