One day, Simba and Nala were standing on the edge looking down at the Pride Lands.
"Nala?" Simba said to his wife, who replied "Yes, Simba?"
"Um, do you remember when we used to play that game Pinned Ya when we were cubs?"
"Yes, I remember," Nala said. "Why?"
"Well, because... we haven't played it in a while since the first time we met as adults. And, uh, I was just wondering if you would like to play it again for old times' sake."
"Okay, you asked for it. But watch me win again!" Nala teased.
"We'll see about that!" Simba growled playfully as he tackled Nala and the two rolled around until Nala pushed Simba to the ground.
Laughing, Nala said "See? What did I tell you?"
"Nala, please, let me up," Simba said and Nala did so. But then Simba tackled her again, growled, and the two went rolling off the edge and Nala pushed Simba to the ground.
"Ha! Pinned ya again!" Nala said in a teasing tone. Right at that moment, Kiara came running out.
"Mom? Dad? What's going on?" she called, only to find her mother on top of her father on the ground.
"Mom? Dad?" Kiara said, confused.
The adult lions looked up and saw their daughter.
"Oh. Hey there, sweetie," Nala said, getting off of Simba. "We were just, uh... we were just having some alone time."
"Yeah. We're just playing," Simba said.
"Oh. Okay," said Kiara and as she turned to go back in, she had a weird expression on her face. What she was thinking was What were they actually doing down there?
"So, how'd you like that game so far?" Nala asked Simba, who answered "It was good. I kinda missed playing it ever since we were little."
"Really?"
"Yeah," Simba replied. "Let's go back in now, okay?"
"Okay, dear," said Nala as she and her husband went back in. "But just so you know, I'll always beat you," Nala smiled teasingly, and Simba simply chuckled.
