He watched from the corner of the room as she laughed with her husband. It should have been, could have been him she was with. But he was too much a coward to let her know how much he was in love with her. And now its too late.

They sat with their large group of friends, laughing over jokes and stupid, stupid things.

The three of them were best friends since kindergarten. Laughing, playing, everything together.

She smiled as he joked with the large Halloween hat and jack'o'lantern on his head.

She never looked more stunning in her angel costume. So perfect.

Perfect. Like how they were suppose to be. Him and her. Not his so-called best was a fool though. He always thought he would be able to tell her next time-tomorrow, there's no rush. But he was so, so stupidly foolish.

He kept praying, begging, for her to turn around and look at him as she walked down that aisle. If only. Then maybe she would be able to see what lay behind his smile. That he loved her. That he always loved her.

He walked out just before the music stopped. He couldn't bear the thought of them saying their vows to each other. Knowing it wasn't him she was giving herself to. He hated it. He hated himself.

He could picture himself standing there, watching her smile for him as he lifted her veil.

Watching her eyes light up as he kissed her in her wedding dress.

Her wedding dress.

He remembered the looks his best friend sent her. How he looked so in love himself. He knew he didn't stand a chance. He knew he lost. He was such a coward.

He was always there for her. Comforting her when she needed someone to talk to. Let her scream and cry out her frustrations. But that bastard took her away. All with one line.

He watched as he leaned in to whisper in her ear, how her face turned red and her smile lite up.

What was so special about that?

Her laughter brought him out of his thoughts. She looked happy at least. He could never forgive himself for not saying anything while he had the chance, but he would hate himself more if he took that look in her eyes away.

She looked up at him, making eye contact, as he placed down a red rose among the many white. She looked confused as he smiled before turning and walking out of the reception and to his car, driving away.

He watched him kneel and take out a ring,

watched her eyes sparkle,

her smile,

her 'Yes, Yes!'...

..and his own heart breaking.

And she looked so lovely in her wedding dress.

Just something that came out while listening to Taeyang:Wedding Dress. Sad song. Not sure where to put this so I'll just leave it for where-ever. Im sure you can think of many pairing's to put it into.
