Summary
Have you ever been in love with a man? If not, then this story will have no effect on you or your emotions. You will not understand the feelings of the heroine that fell in love with someone who had no feelings towards her. You will not know what it feels like to be rejected and played around with by a man with no morals and cruelty enough to be called the Devil himself. But every story has a bright side to it, and this one is not an exception. Another man comes along and the situation changes drastically; the girl who chased after him is now with someone else, and he cannot let it go. It's time to taste your own medicine; it's time for the roles to change and action to take place…
Introduction
It was a sunny bright day, without a single cloud in the sky, a day that promised nothing else but luck and happiness, yet who would have known that for her it would turn out as a tragic accident.
Astra walked down a small road looking around cautiously; crowds made her uncomfortable and all she wanted to that time was go straight back to where she came from. She stopped in the middle of the street and clenched her hands reassuring herself that she can make it.
"I can make it." she mumbled under her breath, fixed her glasses and clenching her big bag that she always carried around entered a small building with a sign "Red Dragon". The lighting in the pub was dull and the atmosphere seemed hot and stuffed. Even though there were quite a lot of people, there wasn't a lot of noise, which was pleasing. The girl took a step forward and looked around searching for the person she was meant to meet. It didn't take her long to find him; he stood out too much. His spiky blonde hair, usual cigarette and devilish smile, everything suddenly seemed so painfully familiar.
She smile and marched towards the blonde with a big smile plastered on her lips. She stopped next to his table and waited for his reaction. He scanned her with his gaze, lazily as if he could see right through her.
"You are late." Was all he said and looked away from her. The girl looked down feeling a hint of guilt inside her.
"Sorry, I couldn't find the place, I…"
"I get it." he raised his hand to stop her from talking. "You will be staying with me; I guess you'll have to. I'll show you where my place is. There are certain rules I want you to know as well, and be sure to keep to them."
She only nodded and listened to him not daring to interrupt.
"Where is your luggage?" he asked when they exited the pub.
"Oh," she bit her lower lip. "I've lost it at the airport."
The blonde rolled his eyes as if he expected something like that from her.
"Great."
He turned away and started walking into the opposite direction from the pub. She watched him for a couple of minutes and rushed behind tripping over her own feet, yet the man never bothered to look up. The girl just smiled, he never changed, a small smile crossed her lips and she quickly caught up with him. She interlocked her hands behind her back and marched next to him, not realising how ridiculous the two of them looked together. Tall, slender and well build, with thick blonde hair and golden sparkling eyes, he stood out too much in comparison to a short, skinny girl with thick deep red hair that was combined together in a very messy pony tail, with big grandmother's glasses and clothes that looked too big for her. And even so, the girl wouldn't care. The happiness of being with him was enough, that's what she thought…but, dear, was she wrong!
