Chapter 1
Kale! come on, you don't want to be late for the Merging Ceremony! "Uhg" i groan as i roll out of my bed. I look at the clock and reads 7:30. That got me going. The merging ceremony is at eight and is a ten minute run away, so i run down stairs and go into the kitchen and see my mom, who is half Delphox, cooking for me and my Heatmor brother, who never is full. I am the only child in the family that is still human but that all changes today when the universe picks a fire pokemon and merges my body with it. After that I get to go to special training school where we perfect our moves so we can use them for jobs, or combat. I'm out the door all I have to do is start running to the school when the school jerk, Marco starts running behind me. " hey dweeb! you ready to fail!" he said I keep running and after a while he slows to take a break. "I never thought I would say this but thank you mom for the track." I think as I run up the hill to the school entrance. Inside, I go to my first two classes then shove all my stuff into a locker. Then I head to the gym. When I say "gym" I mean "the giant natural clearing" so when we get there we sit down alphabetical . As I sit there listening to the names rattle off and the people merge, Ponyta, Slugma Houndour, and I see the amazing transformations, I can't help thinking, "What if I don't merge? What if i'm the only one in the school who doesn't have abilities?" Then it happens, I hear my name get called. I stand up bravely and walk to the pool, "Are you Kale Syron?" the mystic asks. I quench my fears and respond, "Y-Yes" the mystic the tells me to do the hardest thing i've ever done, step into the pool. I put one foot in, then the next until i'm fully under then I see a bright light and disappear. I open my eyes and I can't see my hands, i look down, there is nothing there. Then there is a light and I see it, Blaziken. I emerge from the pool and people stare in awe, I am the first(and turns out only) person this year to merge with a fully evolved pokemon. I head back to my seat and wait for the ceremony to finish. When I get home my family throws a giant party for me complete with lava cookies and tamato berries and moo moo milk. Oh, and how we partied, Mrs. Beino(Torcoal) Made the place steamy so that the discoball refracted off of everything. After the party we were all exhausted so I went to bed waiting for tommorrow. "I woke up in the morning feelin' like Machamp, got to go, im in the flow im gonna defeat some bros."[ see what I did there ;) it's a song] Ate my breakfast and ran to the new Training School.
