New year.
New school.
New town.
New everything.
Again.
Loki stared out the window of the car he sat in, a blank expresion on his face as his step-brother, Thor, blared his music loudly.
Loki had a feeling from the get go that he was not one of the Odinson's, he was too different; dark hair, pale faced, even differently colored eyes.
It was just too obvious.
So why now, when they finally told him last year that he was not of their family, that they had taken him in from when they were traveling, did it still bother him?
He started to feel more left out, more disconnected from any and everyone when his thoughts were confirmed. He started shutting people out for more than one reason.
Odin, his step-father, ran a well known buisness called Asgard Corpartion.
This constantly caused the family to be on the move.
Knowing this, Loki decided he would stop trying to make friends, stop communicating altogether; this was his life after all.
Though it probably wouldn't be forever, Thor was meant to take over the company after graduation and going to college.
And what did Odin expect of Loki?
To work for the company, to work for his idiot brother!
A snarl made it's way from the raven haired boy.
Just the thought of always being in Thor's shadow disgusted him. There was no way in hell he was going to do that! He was going to run the company himself and if he couldn't do that, then fuck it all he wouldn't be working for the company period.
It did not matter to him if the family shunned him or disowned him; they weren't his actual family any way! They just picked him up out of pity as a child.
"Loki, if you aren't careful, your face will freeze that way." a calm voice came from up front, looking at him through the side view mirror.
Mother.
She was the only one he truly trusted, felt a somewhat connection too. Despite his anger and mistrust, despite his will to hate them all, when it came to her; he just couldn't.
The school started to come into view, causing Loki to let out a groan and a sigh.
It was the same every single time.
A new year.
A new school.
A new town.
A new everything.
But the feeling wasn't new, this feeling would never go away.
