When Lizzie Met Castiel…

Lizzie had been traveling with Sam and Dean Winchester for a little over four months now.

She helped them exorcise a particularly nasty demon from a twelve-year-old girl who at the time had been attending Lizzie's old school, Hogwarts, a few months ago, and was also Sam's girlfriend, and they were inseperable.

Except Lizzie had not met Castiel, an angel of God who was one of Sam and Dean's biggest allies and closest friends. She had only heard about him, and being raised a Christian, wanted to meet him more than anything!

She got her wish one cold, cloudy day as she, Dean, and Sam sat in a run down motel room doing research. "Lizzie?" asked Sam, looking up from his laptop. "Mm?" asked Lizzie as she turned the page of the book she was reading. "You said you wanted to meet Cas, right?"

"Yeah," said Lizzie as her face brightened. "Are you gonna call him?" Sam shrugged. "I think it's about time you two met," he said as he smiled and closed his eyes. "Castiel? Could you ah, come down here for a moment? There's someone I want you to meet,"

There was a soft fluttering of wings as Castiel appeared. He was tall, and handsome with dark hair, and he wore a beige trenchcoat over a black suit and blue necktie that he wore loosely.

"Sam," he said and Lizzie was slightly surprised to hear his deep, gravelly voice. "You called me?"

"Ah, yes, Cas," said Sam as he gestured toward Lizzie, who was staring awed at Castiel, her mouth slightly open as she stood up from the chair she was sitting in and walked like a sleepwalker over to him. Castiel smiled at her. "You must be Lizzie," he said. "I – uh – yes, I am," said Lizzie as she extended her hand in a friendly gesture and Castiel shook her hand. "Oh, my gosh!" Lizzie blurted out. "I've heard so much about you!" she said, breathing very fast. Castiel raised his eyebrows, still smiling. "Oh?" he asked. "Dean told me all about how you raised him from hell, and that you rebelled and was cast out of Heaven to side with him and Sam, and – and…"

She stopped talking and was breathing very fast. Her phone rang, as she muttered "excuse me," before seeing who was calling her. It was her cousin Serena Tsukino, who was also the infamous superheroine Sailor Moon.

"Sorry! I really need to take this call. It was really nice meeting you!" she said as she turned on her phone. "Hey! Serena! Guess what? I just meet a real-life angel! I know right?" said Lizzie as she walked outside the hotel room so she could have some privacy.

Before she shut the door, Castiel heard her utter a tiny high pitched excited squeal of delight.

As soon as Lizzie was out of earshot, Castiel turned to Dean. "She's different," he commented. Dean rolled his eyes. "You have no idea," he said.

Sam smiled. "Don't worry," he said. "She's actually really nice once you get to know her,"

Castiel smiled back. "I like her already," he said.
