The Walls Are Melting
This heat outside is incredible. On the thermometer it reads 105 degrees, which is hot, only that's not the worst part of it. It's the walls: concrete, but slowly they're melting; little gray drops hit the floor. I'm waiting for my executioner to come pick me up for my crime. Only I find it rather frustrating that he's taking his sweet time. Time-is that even real anymore? I've been here so long I've forgotten. All I do while I'm here is wait. If time did exist, I'd say I've been here at least five hours, maybe longer, but I can't be sure. Sure?
My father made me promise to do the right thing no matter what, but have I done the right thing? The walls, they just keep melting! Why is it bothering me so much? They're just walls! Only concrete slabs to make prisoners remember the wrong they've done! Wrong they've done? Yes, I broke my promise. I did an evil deed, now here I am-waiting for the executioner. Why hasn't he come for me yet? Why must the walls melt; the raindrops of gray continue to bother me. Bother me? Yes, I did it because "he" bothers me. I never meant to do it, I swear!
"He" made me do it! Where is the executioner damn it! Where is he? Get me away from the melting walls! The gray drops that fall to the floor and show me a reflection of a killer! A killer? Yes, that' what I am and I feel shame for what I've done. Shame? It's a component that continues to make us better unless we don't care. I feel it for double crossing my sure-my promise-to look after "him" even though he drove me mad. This slow painful process, it's as if my soul is already in the negative world. The walls-they keep on melting away and I can see why? Please come get me executioner! Please! I don't want to see!
The walls, they're peeling away! They're showing "him" to me! His lifeless corpse, which I put in the palace concrete walls, is showing itself to me! His sleeping face, so peaceful and tear jerking. Please get me out of here executioner! The walls are peeling! They're revealing!
