Poison love
The oldest son of king Mephiles sighed with boredom. Learning the history of Mobius was never his favorite subject. It didn't help any that his teacher, old man Reggie, never stopped to take a breath. "…just as the war came to an end, with our side victorious of course, your grandfather united the two countries into one." Shadow couldn't help but yawn every five minutes. But luck was on his side today. Because his brother, Sonic, came busting through the door.
"Sorry to interrupt the lesson Reggie, but he is needed elsewhere at the moment." Though annoyed, Reggie bowed his head. "Of course, your highness." Shadow stood up and followed his brother out the door.
"So, what exactly am I needed for?" Sonic smiled and said, "We're going to town. I'm bored out of my mind." Shadow rolled his eyes. So that's it. "Silver is already by the gates. Let's hurry before father finds out." A sigh escaped his lips. Here we go again.
"Shadow! Shadow! Come over here." Silver, the youngest of the three, tugged at his sleeve. "What is it?" Silver pointed to the auction house. "There's a beautiful girl up for sale. Let's get her before anyone else does."
"Show me first." Silver ran, practically dragging his brother, to the auction. "This one. She's the one I want." Shadow looked the slave up and down. She looked average to him. But something about her made him think that she was wise. Almost cunning. He wondered if she would be too much for Silver to handle. "What's her name?"
"Blaze." A slave trader said behind them. "Her name is blaze. She's from the Okami clan." Silver looked at his brother with big puppy dog eyes. "Please." Shadow rubbed his temple. "Is she tame?" the slave trader shook his head. "No but I could train her for you if you like?" Now shadow shook his head. He knew how these kinds of men "trained" their slaves. "That won't be necessary. How much for her?"
The slave trader rubbed his filthy hands together. "25 gold pieces." Shadow shook his head again. "Not for an untrained slave. I will give you 10 gold pieces." The man's smile faded. "But with all due respect my lord, she is a fine piece of meat." Shadow glared at the man. "10 gold or no deal." The man licked his lips nervously. "How about this, two slaves for 25 gold pieces."
"I'm not interested in another slave." The man walked to a different cage. "But sir. You must take a look at this girl. Like blaze, she is also from the okami clan." Shadow went to look at the other girl and froze. She had to be the most beautiful woman he ever laid eyes on. She had fair skin with long black hair and purple eyes. "What's her name?" The man began to rub his hands together again. "Maria."
"Shadow." Silver whined. He never was that patient. "Deal. 25 gold for the two slaves."
Shadow and Silver meet up with their brother Sonic at the fountain. Their new slaves right behind them in chains. "What took you two slow pokes so long?" then he noticed the two girls. "Whoa. What do we have here?" Silver explained the event that just occurred. Sonic grinned. "So, you got them just because they're pretty. Huh, I don't blame you." Shadow glared at his brother. "Shall we go? Or are you still bored." Sonic's response annoyed him. "Haha. No, I'm fine now. Let's go."
