In the miserable dewry of Mourningwood was an unkept fort, constantly under attack by the ghastly Hollowmen resided a soldier by the name of Ben Finn. Ben wasn't constantly in worry of dying by the mysterious attacks, he was more fascinated by Albion's Princess Niamh. His commander Major Swift alerted his troops of the promise Niamh's brother King Logan broken several times and mentioned how he hoped of a hero to come back to Albion. Ben felt something inside his stomach almost like butterflies when he thought of Niamh. He felt like life was just a record repeating - until one day when Sir Walter Beck, Niamh's mentor came to the Mourningwood Fort requesting some help in the revolution and he brought Ben's one dream.

"There he is... the one and only Major Swift!" Walter grinned, shaking the Major's hand.
"Oh oh oh, Walter! What in the blazes are you doing here?" Swift asked Walter, raising his left eyebrow at him.
"We came looking for you. I have a proposition." Walter continued in his speech.
"You came all this way to proposition us..." Ben Finn commented in his sassy tone of voice. "And I thought you were here to save us from the legions of the damned." he continued.
"Ben Finn. It's good to see you." Walter excitedly spoke out. "I take it the legends about this place are true then."
"I'll say. We've never seen so many hollowmen in one night. We've been stationed here for weeks trying to eradicate them mainly it's us getting eradicated." Swift snarled as they walked towards the grave of deceased Lieutenant Simmons. "We lost some good men last night. Including Lieutenant Simmons here. And the buggers will be back tonight!"
"Logan just loves to send you on the best assignments, doesn't he?" Walter asked as a rhetorical question. Ben couldn't help but stare at Niamh, he couldn't stop how many butterflies he could feel in his stomach. "That's part of what I wanted to talk to you about." Walter continued to say.
"Is this?" Swift asked, hinting to Walter who he thought Niamh was. Ben didn't even remove his glance from Niamh, he was so interested in her. Niamh gave a warming smile.
"Princess Niamh. Just treat her like any other piece of hands for now." Walter answered as Niamh gave a small wave, then saluting to attention.
"I see. Captain Finn will show you to the mortar. We could use another body up there.".

Ben Finn spent all night with Princess Niamh, falling in deeper love with her. He almost tried to kiss her, until she stopped him asking what he was doing. He replied with saying she was doing a fantastic job. Soon after they stopped the attacking from hollowised Lieutenant Simmons and other of his servants, they carried on to meet the Bowerstone Resistance. Ben Finn couldn't stop thinking about her.

Soon enough Princess Niamh had to rescue Bowerstone citizen Linda's fiancé Elliot. Elliot was her childhood sweetheart who she saved from being murdered by her brother's soldiers. Within a few weeks later, all the kingdom found out through normal gossip that the regal Princess Niamh was officially wife to childhood sweetheart Elliot. Suddenly Ben found out and it wrecked his world. It hurt even more after his commander Major Swift was horrifically murdered by King Logan's men. He tried to build a happiness in his heart by becoming friends with the promised ones of the revolution like the Bowerstone Resistance's ruler, Page.
