CHIHIRO POV:

Everyday I walk to the tunnel. I remembered how I refused to go through, and now I wish it would just turn red and I could run into the tunnel that once took me to the spirit land.

But it can't.

I ventured to the spirit world 4 years ago, with my mother and father. I was 10 then. I am now 14. And Haku, well, I assume he's all right. He's never told me otherwise.

I walked to the tunnel, not really expecting anything new. Just my wish and then I could get on with my life once more, my life without Haku. My feet crunched on the fallen twigs and leaves from the autumn weather. The leaves had just turned beautiful shades of red, green, yellow, and orange. Just like the rings Zeniba wore. I sighed. I missed everyone. Especially Haku. It's hard to see the life of me waking up and realising he isn't there. It was so hard for me not to turn my head around as I ran away. The feeling of my hand in his just seemed…right.

I approach the tunnel, and look up from my feet. A gasp escapes my mouth. Someone has come to let me in! I thought. I ran through the tunnel before I realised I might be trapped again. I looked at the sun, and saw it was lowering. I had to get through the fields, or else I would drown in the ocean that came up. I started sprinting again, and I saw the covered up river. The one I once climbed with my parents. It reminds me of Haku. It's been 4 years too long. I miss him, and I need him. The sun kept going down. I carried myself as fast as I could to the bathhouse. I hesitated as I saw the bridge.

The sun was even lower. I heard a familiar voice. "Get off me!" the voice cried.

"Never!" replied the other voice. They stumbled onto the bridge. I gasped. Haku! I thought. The other man draws his sword. He's in trouble! I thought. I ran onto the bridge forgetting to hold my breath. I jump and wrap my arms around the man's waist

HAKU's POV:

"NO!" A familiar voice cried out. The man was off of me in seconds. I had made the mistake of telling him about Se- I mean, Chihiro. I miss her. She's all I can think about. The next thing I heard was a scream. I stood up and saw the girl being held by one wrist over the bridge. A human! I thought. Just like Chihiro. I gasped and ran over. I pushed the man and he let go of the girl, and she fell. She was screaming. I ran as fast as I could to the coast of the water and caught her. I let her calm down in my arms before I set her on the ground. "You shouldn't be here" I said firmly. She looked at me. "That's what you said to me last time" I must have looked confused because then she said, "I should be here. The gate let me in." I stared at her firmly. "I have to go," I said.

"Then go"
"I will" she was tough, and a bit stubborn as well. I started walking and she said to me, "Don't forget your promise" I froze. Those were the exact words I said when Chihiro was under contract with the nasty Yubaba. I kept walking. "I HAVE TO GO!" I shouted, furious that the memories of Chihiro were now flooding my mind. I couldn't let her see me cry. "Fine" she said. "Turn into a dragon, see if I care" She turned and walked to the bathhouse, one hand covering her mouth and nose so she wouldn't breath. Just like my Chihiro.
