~*Cough*~

Wilhelm burst into a fit of coughs that brought tears to his eyes. He felt his chest tighten and for a moment he didn't think he'd be able to catch his breath. He'd lose his life in a fit of coughs just like his brother.

"Will!" Liam was at his side holding him up. He pushed the sheep away and the dogs back with a sweep of his hand. "My sweet Will. What ails you?"

Wilhelm wheezed for a while longer until his breath caught again. He leaned against Liam for a moment, before knelt down on the grass. "I'm just having a spell." Wilhelm smiled.

"You been sick for a few weeks." Liam pointed out. "I've missed you."

"Uncle insisted I stay in." Wilhelm smiled looking at Liam. It had been too long since he had seen his friend. "I heard you came to visit."

"Aye of course I was worried about you." Liam kissed his brow sitting beside him and drawing Wilhelm into his lap and embrace. "I remember how you told me about your brother."

"Oh Liam." Wilhelm touched his cheek gently. "That won't be me. I have too much to fight for."

"He had a pregnant wife you said!" Liam argued.

"That girl isn't you." Wilhelm smiled. As a child he was always worried about his health. He was so weak more so then some of his brothers and sisters that had died; more then his brother who had died at 19 newly wed and baby on the way. However, his father told him once that he never worried as much about him because even at four and five he always fought harder then any of his other children. He was too stubborn to stay sick for long his father had said. Now he actually had someone to fight for. Nothing could be better.

Liam shook his head. "You need to be careful." He warned, but leaned down to kiss Wilhelm. "I love you, Will."

"I didn't sneak out here just to hear you say so." Wilhelm smiled cheekily. He knew what it took for Liam to whisper those words to him. He cherished every time, but he didn't want to make a big deal of them, in case Liam might become embarrassed and try to take them back.

Liam laughed dryly and kissed him again. Wilhelm smiled and spread his legs when Liam started to grope him. Liam took the cue and slide his hand into Wilhelm's slacks and started to touch him tenderly and then with vigor.

Then Wilhelm started coughing. Another fit which had him keeling over and heaving. Liam's hands moved from his slacks to his back rubbing slowly trying to ease Wilhelm's suffering.

"That's it you're going back home." Liam said when they were finally over.

"No, Liam." Wilhelm reached for him. "Please, please. I can't be away from you any longer. Just let me lay here in the grass and watch you while you work."

"Not much doing, just watching over them." Liam pointed at the sheep that were grazing or sleeping.

It was an agreement though and Wilhelm lied down in the grass and looked at Liam. "Well I'll just look at you anyway."

"Will." Liam lied down beside him and put his arms around Wilhelm. Wilhelm closed his eyes and ducked his head laying it against Liam.
