Hello! Since I'm bored, I shall be writing a new one shot! It's called 123Bramblepelt123's Warrior Cat Challenge. It wasn't my idea, but Bramblepaw's. Here are the rules-
1. These ideas must be done in order.
2. You can name these cats if you feel like it.
3. You can name the chapter whatever you want to.
4. Chapter must at least have 700 words in it.
Enjoy the fic!
Orangedawn
A cat who wants to live in the Twolegs Place instead of the forest.
Life has always been hard for me.
Parents in different Clans, no kin to talk with.
Not even a mate to have kits with.
Life wasn't too good for me. It had started out nice, my sister and I were the best of friends. We would go out hunting together, a fight by each other's side. We promised each other that we would always be together, and if she leaves, I would too. We'd go on hunting patrols together, and no matter what the clan said, we'd share our prey. Nothing could break us apart.
Except maybe, death.
~Flashback~
One day, Rednight, my sister and I were on patrol along the ShadowClan border.
"Hey, Orangedawn! Can you smell that?" Meowed Rednight, sniffing a small bramble bush.
"It... It smells like ShadowClan cats!" I hissed, looking in the direction of the border. If those mangy crow-food eaters are stealing our prey, I'll rip them to shreds! Just then a bush moved and three tabby cats burst out of there, hissing. Not wanting to miss her chance for a good fight, my sister lunged out at the ShadowClan cats, missing as they ran past her.
The tabbies ran across the thunder path, and my sister had to follow them to get the cats out of the territory. She reached the black, hard ground, still pelting across. She didn't see the fast approaching monster...
~End Flashback~
That memory always brought me to tears. Seeing her bloody, mangled body after the monster attacked her made me want to kill every ShadowClan cat I ever saw. It was their fault. They made her chase them. They made her die.
Why is life so hard?
But when Firepaw, now Firestar, came to the camp from the Twoleg place. He told us about kittypets, and how they were treated. He said it was boring, but been given your own food, no battles and, most importantly, no deaths sounded pretty good to me.
He told us about his kittypet friends, his sister, and his Twolegs. They sounded nice, and I was sure I'd get along with them. The only thing that irked me was how the Twolegs treated queens. They would wait until the kits could eat fresh- kill, and take them away from their mothers. Sometimes the queens will never see them again, but then sometimes they will just go and live with another Twoleg, not too far from you.
Ever since I had heard Firestar's story, I knew that I should live with the Twolegs. The only problem was getting a Twoleg to care for me. If they didn't accept me, I'd have to become a loner. This would be even harder. I'd have to find food for myself, and fight off any clan cat that tries to drive me off the territory.
I'll have to ask Firestar. He'll help me find a Twoleg. After all, he has done it before.
I enter his den; he and Sandstorm are talking to each other. "Ah, hello Orangedawn. How's the prey running?" Firestar asks, kind as usual.
"Actually, I wanted to ask you something." I mew, looking at my paws.
"Yes?" He inquires.
"Would... Would you let me... Become a kittypet?"
I cut that off there! Haha! Now you'll never know what Firestar said! But it doesn't really matter. I made this so it's pretty much your choice if he say yes or not.
Bu- bye, for now. ;D
