Exari:

"Sunrises on Dantooine. Dantooine is a beautiful planet. Green hills that roll out into the distance, light breezes and the soft flow of the rivers.

For me, sunrises on Dantooine were not appreciated in my youth. They always meant early morning katas and saber techniques and lessons that could have waited till the afternoon.

I didn't think much of the sunrises when I lived in the enclave. They were just there, every morning. A backdrop to a saber lesson, something to stare off into when the Masters would drag on. Of course Master Syyn would try to show me the beauty in a sunrise. The beauty in a new day, that you are alive and awake to see this gift. He would tell me to never take a sunrise for granted, because so many people are not able to see it. And maybe this sunrise will be your last. That's the sunrises on Dantooine.

On Korriban it was a different story. They meant little to the students or the overseers. It was just the mark of another day of trials and punishments. On Korriban I don't remember the sunrises. Its not that I didn't see it, but there was so much going on, something so small and simple often meant that it was forgotten or overlooked. It was taken for granted on Korriban.

So many on Korriban probably never saw a sunrise. Not that they weren't outside, they just never took the time to really look. Maybe Korriban didn't have them. I don't remember. Sunrises remind me much of Master Syyn and the Jedi. Nowadays we run around so much, we are on the ship so much, you rarely see a sunrise. Prehaps that should change."
