Skyrim:
The Assassin:
Solitude
All is calm in the city of Solitude at the market place. When all of a sudden a scream rings out. The city guard run towards the locational origin of the scream. Thane Erikur lies dead in front of a stall, an arrow through his heart. Then suddenly a guard points at a hooded figure running away, towards the main gate. The hooded figure, still running, notices a guard locking the gate. Determined to escape, the figure climes "The Winking Skeever", jumping over the gate. The next day, Aldis, Captain of the guard in Solitude, reports the incident to General Tullius, and Jarl Elsif the Fair, who left the city to attend an important meeting of the Jarls, who side with the Empire, in Markarth.
"My Jarl, Thane Erikur was assassinated in the market place yesterday. The murder fired an arrow from the door to the Emperor's tower which was connected to that (pointing to the tower pass the market, the one with the windmill), and was able to escape, and no one was able to get a good look at him." said Aldis. "This is disturbing." said Elsif "Aincantar, nephew of the court mage in Markarth, was killed the same way."
Then Noster Eagle-eye said "The assassin is a female. I was standing here, when she climbed over the inn, and over the wall."
Then suddenly, a courier came into the city. "General Tullius, I was ordered to deliver a message to you from Jarl Balgruuf of Whiterun. A spree of murders has been going on all over Skyrim. Here's the letter." He said handing a tightly rolled up piece of paper." Said the courier, before leaving to deliver a message to Jarl Igmund of Markarth.
"Well don't just stand there, read it." Said Falk Fire-Beard, steward of Jarl Elsif. "Attention all generals and Jarls, there have been spree of murders all over Skyrim. It started in Riften, then Windhelm, next, Winterhold, Dawnstar. Only leaving Solitude, Markarth, Falkreath and Morthal. Although, I doubt if it will stay that way for long."
"General Tullius, round up all the men you can, and have them patrol the streets. Try to make sure this doesn't happen again." Said Elsif. The suddenly an arrow landed on the ground right in front of her, with a parchment attached. "Don't count on it." The message said. The one who fired the arrow, upon view by Aldis, wasn't the assassin who killed Erikur. "ARCHERS, FIRE!" General Tullius said. The first archer to draw his bow was intently killed by an arrow to the face. The another archer pulled his bow string back, only to be hit by an arrow from behind, yet still to the head. They turned around, only to see the assassin from the previous day, and to get shot at from both sides of the streets, from the tops of the buildings.
After 30 minutes of arrow firing, the assassins ran out of arrow and were forced to retreat. The solitude guards had, however, many casualties, leaving them defenceless from another attack.
