Nicole was sitting there cuddling close to Cole. I smiled at them, glad my brother had lightened up a bit. Jay and Nya were sitting next to them huddled close together. This was going to be a twelve hour trip. We were headed to Madeira, Florida. Located near the gulf of Mexico, it was bound to be beautiful. I suddenly stopped daydreaming, as Zane shook me back to reality. "This trip seems like forever." I said giggling. "But at least we've got eachother." He replied with a grin. I leaned up against his chest and fell asleep. We stopped in Georgia. We stayed in a hotel at Savannah that night. The next day we drove to Florida. When we reach Tampa bay I got si excited, my first time seeing salt water! We drove over a 7 mile bridge. On each side was salt water. I eeped so loud I woke everyone up. "Oops!"I said nervously. I hid my face in Zane's chest. I was probably red in the face. When we reach the hotel, the sign read 'Surf Song'. We checked into the hotel. We went upstairs, unpacked and left to eat. The resteraunt we ate at wad called 'Friendly Fisherman'. The oysters there were so heavenly that I drooled all over the plate.
We left, our hunger satisfied. We went to a store called 'Surf Style' there were like four of these shops in town. I tryed on lots of sunglasses. Nya bought a purple tee-shirt that said 'Madeira Beach' and had paint splatters all over it. We left back to the hotel. Nya and Jay kinda ran back leaving everyone behind. When we reach the hotel we all settled in and fell asleep.
The next day we went out on the beach. I felt like I had been here before, but it was my first time at the beach. Then I thought maybe I lived here in some past life or something. I immediately ran out in the gulf, were I swam for hours. That night we went to 'Delosa's Pizza'. Then we returned Nya's shirt in order for her to get a new one because hers had a hole in it. I bought a braclet the at had the Chinese symbol for strength. Then we went to a place were people trained baby alligators. They also had a blue tounged mink. It was a pretty cool lizard, one i had never seen.
The third day, my favorite. We went to the Clearwater marine aquarium, also know as the home of Winter the dolphin. We bought our tickets, and entered. Inside was a huge giftshop full of souveniers of the aquarium.
